These three beautiful dresses illustrate the simple elegance of the end of the Edwardian era and the years immediately after the Great War.

The introduction of satin both plain and ribbed allowed these exquisite trains to become to highlight of many dresses of this time!

The dress on the left in this photo was worn in Dalry in 1926.
