The Treasures of the Orient exhibition featured our amazing collection of Chinese & Japanese costumes, including an Imperial Court Robe.

    This was my first visit to the museum, I was completely blown away by the exhibition of Chinese silks. It certainly isn’t what I expected of a costume museum in rural Scotland. It was so good that I had to come back for a 2nd visit a week later. Can’t praise it highly enough.
